有记者提问：我们注意到，近期举行的美日菲三边峰会发表的声明对中国在南海的活动表示严重关切，呼吁中国遵守2016年南海仲裁案裁决。请问发言人有何评论？
林剑：中方坚决反对有关国家操弄集团政治，坚决反对任何挑起和激化矛盾、损害他国战略安全和利益的做法，坚决反对在本地区搞封闭排他的“小圈子”。中方决不接受有关国家在南海问题上针对中国的无端指责和恶意抹黑。
南海仲裁案所作裁决非法、无效。中国不接受、不参与仲裁，不接受、不承认所谓裁决，更不接受任何基于该裁决的主张和行动。
南海仲裁案及其非法裁决损害的是包括菲方在内的地区国家的利益。任何包装都改变不了南海问题的本质，任何披着法律外衣的政治操弄都阻挡不了中国维护自身领土主权和海洋权益的坚定决心和意志，都将注定徒劳。
