Freetown, Rainforest & Beach

Begin your journey in Sierra Leone's capitol of Freetown. Settled by waves of freed slaves whose descendants became known as Krios, the city has a proud history of freedom and learning and was once known as the ‘Athens of West Africa’. After discovering the sights and sounds of Freetown and its surrounding set out to discover its rainforests and beaches. On this safari you will visit with the chimps at Tacugama Sanctuary, frolic in the waters at Charlotte Falls and soak up the sounds of the ocean at Mama Beach.
