Rwandan Silverback

Gorillas live in family groups comprised of ten to thirty females and their young, dominated by one male, commonly referred to as a silverback.

Gorillas In The Mist

Dominated by a central plateau made up of steep mountains and deep valleys, Rwanda is lovingly referred to as the Land of a Thousand Hills. On this short safari, we take you to the Virunga volcanoes, home of the famed Mountain Gorilla. Weave through overhanging vines and moss-covered trees as you seek out the rare giant. When you spot the mountain gorilla, let yourself be surrounded by the mystery and similarity of this species, so closely related to our own.
